Tournament Rules

  • Game Duration: 40 minutes per match (including a 4-minute break)

  • Changeover: 10-minute changeover between matches (no team will play back-to-back matches until Semi-finals)

  • Number of Teams: 8 total (2 groups of 4)

  • Eligibility:

    • Teams must have 5 players minimum (on the pitch) and can register up to 10 players.

    • 8 players is the sweet spot for subs and rotation.

    • The format is mixed-gender. Each team must field at least one female-identifying or non-binary player at all times (and have at least two registered overall).

  • Tournament Format:

    • Group Stage (Round Robin)

    • Semi-finals

    • Final & Playoff for Third Place

  • Tournament Starts: 9:00 AM

  • Tournament Concludes: 6:00 PM

A detailed tournament schedule will be released once team registrations have closed.

The Perry Cup is all about good vibes, friendly competition, and coming together for a great cause. It’s a mixed, family-friendly day of football, so we expect everyone to play hard but fair, show respect, and keep it fun for all involved.

Aggressive, disrespectful, or overly competitive (d*ckhead) behaviour that kills the vibe won’t be tolerated. If your actions ruin the spirit of the event, we reserve the right to remove you (and your team) from the tournament. Nobody wants that, so please don’t be that person.
